This is the most comprehensive option for engaged couples who prefer to have private sessions. Using the Prepare-Enrich assessment, you will get a snapshot of your relationship dynamics including your strengths and growth areas. Additionally, I will analyze the assessment to identify any potential sources of future conflict. Together, we will review the assessment and make a plan moving forward that best suits your needs. Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, I will specifically look at the process for how each partner reaches for and gets their needs met. My goal is to ensure your couples’ bond is secure and ready to face any challenge that comes your way! Additional areas of concentration include:
Building Conflict Resolution and Effective Communication Skills
Setting Financial Expectations
Relationship Roles and Expectations
Assessing Family History
Upon Completion of all 6 sessions you will receive a Notorized State Certificate that entitles you to receive a discount on your marriage license fee.
Insurance: Our practice is not affiliated with any insurance networks. We do not bill your insurance. The reasons we are not currently “in-network” with insurance companies are related to your quality of care and confidentiality as a patient. In order for insurance to cover your visits, our therapist must diagnose you with a mental health disorder, which becomes a part of your medical record. The insurance provider then can access your records, and may determine how many sessions you may receive – even how many minutes long the sessions can be. These processes can result in treatment delays and gaps. This prevents us from having the freedom to create what we feel is an appropriate treatment plan for each individual client
